TechnoPro Group to Adopts Claude Enterprise to Accelerate Its Transformation into One of Japan’s Largest AI Implementation Companies
Jul 14, 2026
TechnoPro Holdings, Inc. (“TechnoPro”) has entered into a license agreement (the “Agreement”) for the company wide deployment of Claude Enterprise, provided by Anthropic PBC (“Anthropic”), an AI safety and research company, across the TechnoPro Group. The Agreement is expected to accelerate TechnoPro’s vision of becoming “one of Japan’s largest AI implementation companies.”
The full-scale deployment of Claude across the Group marks the first major initiative to accelerate TechnoPro’s transformation into an AI implementation company following its 2025 privatization*1 under an agreement with Blackstone, a leading global investment firm. As a key initiative within TechnoPro’s investment of over JPY 10 billion in AI and digital transformation (DX), Claude will be integrated as part of the Group’s management infrastructure, fundamentally enhancing the productivity, quality, and career development of its more than 30,000 engineers.
- Deploying Claude across all business processes as a core engine of “AI empowerment” under TechnoPro’s AI Vision, positioning AI as a core element of management infrastructure
- Training 10,000 “AI implementation engineers,” led by the AI CoE Office, to drive career development and improved compensation
- Promoting AI-driven development (AIX) and Delivery DX (DDX) to accelerate the circular model integrating on-site services and solution businesses
- Positioning this Agreement as a key initiative within TechnoPro’s three-year mid-term management plan, contributing to the advancement of AI implementation across Japanese society
1. Deploying Claude Across All Business Processes: Establishing AI as Management Infrastructures
Based on its “AI Vision,” TechnoPro will position AI not merely as a tool for operational efficiency, but as a core element of management infrastructure across the entire Group.
Claude will be integrated into all business processes, including sales, talent allocation, project delivery, recruitment, training, finance and accounting, as well as corporate strategy development, enabling industry-leading productivity.
TechnoPro will also foster company-wide AI literacy, create an environment in which the latest AI technologies can be leveraged without limitation, and establish mechanisms to scale and share use cases across the organization. Through these initiatives, TechnoPro aims to position itself as a role model for AI implementation among its clients.
2. Developing 10,000 AI Implementation Engineers Through AI CoE Led Training Programs
Led by the AI CoE Office, a specialized organization responsible for advancing and deploying cutting-edge AI technologies, TechnoPro will design and roll out AI-driven development training programs utilizing Claude for all engineers across the Group. Through these initi3atives, TechnoPro aims to establish a workforce of 10,000 “AI implementation engineers” by June 2029.
3. Accelerating the Circular Model Through AI-Driven Development (AIX) and Delivery DX (DDX)
TechnoPro will organize its extensive repository of on-site knowledge—including specifications, design documentation, and source code—into a structured knowledge base (RAG), enabling AI-driven development (AIX) utilizing Claude’s autonomous agent capabilities. Agents embedded with proprietary know-how will be deployed across each phase of development, including requirements definition, code generation, and test scenario creation, promoting “Delivery DX (DDX),” which digitizes the entire development lifecycle. Through these initiatives, TechnoPro aims to significantly enhance development productivity by June 2029.
Furthermore, as its own first customer (“Customer Zero”), TechnoPro will leverage the know-how gained through AIX and Delivery DX to develop industry-specific AI agents and AI operating systems in the manufacturing and IT sectors. Through long-term, collaborative engagement, TechnoPro will support primarily mid-sized and large enterprises in maximizing their return on investment.
4. Contributing to the Advancement of AI Implementation Across Japanese Society Through a Three-Year Investment of Over JPY 10 Billion in AI/DX
This Agreement is a key initiative within TechnoPro’s mid-term management plan, which includes over JPY 10 billion in AI and DX investment. By viewing external challenges, including the declining working-age population, as opportunities, TechnoPro aims to fundamentally enhance the productivity and quality of its workforce of over 30,000 engineers. By evolving into an “AI-powered co-creation platform,” TechnoPro will drive AI implementation among client companies that support Japan’s core industries, thereby contributing to the digital transformation and global competitiveness of Japanese society.
Comment from Gaku Shimaoka, President, Representative Director and CEO, TechnoPro Holdings, Inc.:
“TechnoPro views the rapid advancement of AI as a significant opportunity and is firmly committed to helping our clients adopt and scale AI. Our decision to go private under an agreement with Blackstone and to undertake bold, forward-looking investments was driven by a clear determination to accelerate this transformation. By leveraging Claude, we will drive our evolution into one of Japan’s largest AI implementation companies, equipping all employees with advanced AI capabilities. Through these efforts, we will enhance career development and compensation for our engineers while contributing to solving challenges faced by our clients and by Japanese society as a whole.”
Comment from Hidetoshi Tojo, Representative Executive Officer and President, Anthropic Japan G.K.:
“TechnoPro’s deep understanding of Japan’s industrial landscape, its strong capabilities in developing engineering talent, and its circular model integrating on-site services and solutions position the company to play a critical role in advancing AI implementation across society.
We expect that Claude—with its strong emphasis on safety and reliability—will contribute to accelerating AI adoption across Japanese industry by supporting TechnoPro’s company wide AI deployment and the development of AI implementation engineers.”

In August 2025, TechnoPro transitioned to a private company under an agreement with a fund managed and advised by Blackstone, one of the world’s largest alternative asset managers (listed on the NYSE, with approximately JPY 176 trillion in assets under management*2). This decision was made to enable bold, upfront investments—including over JPY 100 billion in M&A and over JPY 10 billion in AI/DX—to fundamentally transform its service model and accelerate its evolution into one of Japan’s largest AI implementation companies.
